Invented this color blue, called International Klein Blue
He used it in a lot of his paintings, creating an abstract monochromatic art piece
Klein was inspired by the sky when he created this color blue; it all began when Klein and two of his art friends were enjoying a beautiful day in France when they challenged themselves to split up the world into 3 sections, and Klein was assigned the sky.
Klein worked off his idea that the sky is a place of liberty, where individuals can be free from all the worries below
In the photo in which Klein is jumping into the air, he is really exhibiting the liberty that the sky provides us; he is telling us to jump into this freedom in the air through this photo.
